So tell us, how did you get into game development?

I liked painting when I was young, then when I was in college, I was attracted by a game. So I tried to do some design about game UI and game art in college time. My college subject is computer science and Technology, is a very great subject of game development. After I graduated, I joined a game company.

 

What kind of software do you use to make your games?

First is CocosCreator, then we change to Unity 3D.

 

What sort of hardware do you use to make your games?

21.5-inch iMac

 

If you could choose only one “item” that makes development easier what would it be?

It’s my Razer mouse. It makes me feel very smooth.

 

Name one quote that motivates or inspires your game development!

The most quote that inspired me is “Details decide everything”. I think details are the most important thing in the game development.

 

Are there any books (or guides) you would recommend to new game developers?

I think the one book I would recommend is“Designing Interfaces” by Jenifer Tidwell.

 

Lastly, your advice to new game developers!

Be original, be imitated rather than imitate others.
