How did you get into game development?

As a child I was interested in developing games – I always wanted to make something of my own. So I started learning programming and drawing, and I have a lot of ideas for different games that I would like to bring to life.

Over time, I studied the Unity3D engine and participated in various projects, little by little I started working on assets, so I became a publisher in the Unity Asset Store. And recently I released my own mobile game called Tetronix.

What software do you use to make your games?

To create my games I use Unity3D, Blender, and Photoshop.

What hardware do you use to make your games?

To create games, I have an average desktop PC, powerful enough to make games of varying complexity and at the same time allowing performance monitoring for most players 😃

If you could choose only one “item” that makes development easier what would it be?

The most important element, of course, is “love.” Love for games, love for their work. Without this, it is impossible to make a good game – love is what turns work into pleasure 😃

Name one quote that motivates your development!

“This is exactly what I need to do…
and right now!”

Any books (or guides) you would recommend to new game developers?

Unity Manual and Photon Networking Guide, there are well described various aspects of the game from simple to complex, which is suitable for both beginners and professionals. And of course, it is useful to search for answers to all emerging questions on the forums.

Lastly, your advice to new game developers!

Advice to new game developers – If the code has become too confusing, delete everything and write again 😃 And if you are too lazy to do it, then tell yourself:
“This is exactly what I need to do …
and right now! ”
